Three farmers die of cardiac arrest over crop loss in UP

A 50-year-old farmer died of cardiac arrest after seeing his crops destroyed in unseasonal rains and hailstorm in Mohammadpur Khala area here, police said today.

Muzaffarnagar (UP): Three farmers died of cardiac arrest after seeing their crops destroyed in untimely rains and hailstorms in the district.

Sukhbir (57) of Durgandpur village, Rashid khan (60) of Sikri village and Khem Chand (75) of Mohdpur Raisingh village died of cardiac arrest yesterday after seeing destruction of their crops, Additional District Magistrate Ramkishan Sharma said today.

Upon receiving information about their deaths, the ADM has sent a team of revenue department to the respective villages to probe the matter.
