Two arrested for molesting a woman singer

Two persons were arrested for allegedly molesting a woman singer after she sought a lift in their car at Barasat.

Barasat: Two persons were arrested Saturday for allegedly molesting a woman singer after she sought a lift in their car at Barasat in North 24-Parganas district. The woman was acquainted with the duo who asked her to get into their car when she was waiting to return home on Thursday, the police said after the woman filed a complaint today.

They molested the married woman after she got into their car, sources said. She began to scream when they took her near a burning ghat and the alerted people rescued her, the police said.
