Durban, Dec 14: Five passengers were killed and 50 injured when a bus rolled down an embankment in Eastern South Africa this morning, traffic authorities said.
Kwazulu-natal traffic spokesman Logan Maistry said the bus driver and one passenger were seriously injured, while 48 others sustained moderate to slight injuries when the bus crashed near Bulwer, about 600 kilometres southeast of Johannesburg.
The bus was carrying migrant mine workers to their homes in eastern Cape Province when it crashed.
