Washington: Donald Trump, the front-runner for the Republican presidential nomination, shocked everyone with his tweet after a man wielding a meat cleaver tried to enter a police station in France on Thursday.
The man known for his outbursts took the Internet by a storm when he tweeted something which implied that Paris, the French capital, is in Germany.
This is what Trump tweeted:
Man shot inside Paris police station. Just announced that terror threat is at highest level. Germany is a total mess-big crime. GET SMART!

As soon as 'Paris is in Germany' started trending on Twitter, his supporters and critics rolled up their sleeves against each other.
While his critics lashed out at Trump for confusing two of the most powerful countries in Europe, his supporters said the Republican presidential front-runner related Paris and Germany rather than suggesting `Paris is in Germany`.
