Salehi said on Wednesday that Tehran will address the concerns raised
by the Vienna group regarding the fuel deal inked by the
Islamic republic with Brazil and Turkey.
"Iran will answer their questions after studying their
letters in detail," Salehi told ISNA news agency.
Earlier today, the United States, Russia and France --
known as the so-called Vienna Group -- gave their responses to
the fuel deal to the UN atomic watchdog in separate letters
titled.
That was in response to Iran`s proposal on May 17 for an
arrangement with Brazil and Turkey regarding the supply of
fuel for a research reactor in Tehran that makes radioisotopes
for medical purposes.
Iran officially informed the International Atomic Energy
Agency (IAEA) of that deal on May 24, when the agency
immediately forwarded it to the United States, France and
Russia for their opinions.
"The three countries -- the US, Russia and France --have
given their responses separately. They have raised some
questions about the Iran-Turkey-Brazil declaration which talks
of exchange of fuel," Salehi said.
Without elaborating, he said the responses of the three
countries were in "contradiction to what is happening in New
York."
