Six killed in road accident in China

Beijing: Six people were killed and 10 others injured when an overloaded motorised tricycle overturned in China`s northern Shanxi Province.

The accident took place yesterday when the vehicle, carrying 16 people, was coming down a hillside close to a village in Shilou County, local officials said. Five people died on the spot and another died in hospital. They were all workers at an auxiliary project of a transformer station. Overloading and mechanical errors caused the accident, state-run Xinhua news agency reported.
