Los Angeles: Actress Evan Rachel Wood and husband Jamie Bell are expecting their first child.

"The couple is thrilled," a representative of Wood, told usmagazine.com. The news comes as a surprise to fans as Wood denied rumours of impending motherhood after she was photographed tenderly touching her stomach in November last year. "Sorry to disappoint.
