"We are not free at the moment but we are on our way to Turkey. We expect to be on the border by the evening," Mustafa Tezdoner, one of the 31 truck drivers kidnapped by militants from the jihadist group the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) told Turkey`s NTV television. The Dogan news agency had reported earlier that the hostages were being released. The Turkish foreign ministry declined to confirm the release but said there were "positive developments".
