Shah Rukh-Aamir agree to ‘no more jibes’ contract

Mumbai, April 07: Known for taking endless jibes and tacky potshots at one another, Aamir Khan and his bitter foe Shah Rukh Khan have been feeding juicy fodder to gossip mills. Be it the much-eyed No 1 tag or the real superstar debate, the two have often engaged in a war of words. But now it seems that the two big daddies of Bollywood have decided to bury their childish egos as they have kissed and patched up at Karan Johar’s pad.Unlike Shah Rukh and Salman, who went from friends to foes, Aamir and Shah Rukh have been anything but pals. At loggerheads, the two industry Titans have now reportedly ventured into a verbal agreement to stop the mockery of one another publicly. According to sources, the two media magnates settled their differences at SRK’s best friend KJo’s home. Though the meeting was called to discuss the current multiplex situation, it resulted in SRK and Aamir mending their past follies. Speaking to a news daily, Aamir’s spokesperson confirmed the meeting but was unable to give details. Karan Johar confirmed and said, “Yes, we met but it was an official meeting regarding the situation the industry is in. I would not like to discuss anything further till I can.” However insiders state that beside the multiplex situation the two superstars talked about their personal equation. While SRK openly stated his displeasure of Aamir’s constant mockery at him, Aamir too spoke his heart out. And with KJo present to pacify the hot-blooded Khans the two soon reached an amicable solution and have now decided not to take digs at one another. But going by SRK witty self and Aamir’s tongue-in-cheek remarks, only time will tell as to how long these Khans stick to their word.
