Renault launches crossover MPV Lodgy Premium in India

New Delhi: French auto major Renault on Tuesday launched crossover based on its multi purpose vehicle (MPV) 'Lodgy' in the price range of Rs 11.99 lakh to Rs 12.29 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Renault Lodgy Premium Stepway Edition would be available in two variants -- Lodgy RxZ 110Ps and Lodgy RxZ 110Ps.
Powered by 1.5 litre K9K dCi (common rail direct injection) engine, RxZ 110Ps is an eight-seater and RxZ 110Ps a seven-seater.
"With the launch of the Lodgy Premium Stepway Edition today, we continue this process of innovation with the intent of adding value to our customers. The Lodgy Premium Stepway Edition has been designed with assertive and distinctive styling and is India's first crossover MPV," said Renault India Country CEO and MD Sumit Sawhney.
Both variants have premium leather blended upholstery alongwith features including anti-lock braking system, brake assist, driver and passenger airbags, rear wiper and defogger, rear parking sensor, rear view camera, central locking, power steering and power windows.
Renault, which had a market share of just over two percent in the country last year, forayed in MPV segment on Apr 9 this year after launching 'Lodgy'.
