The ‘Gunday’ star has bagged the lead role in Aditya Chopra’s directorial.

‘Befikre’ is a special film which was announced on Late Yash Raj’s 83rd birthday by none other than the YRF scion Aditya, who will direct a film after a hiatus of 7 years.

Ranveer was launched by the YRF banner in 'Band Baajaa Baarat' and also starred in 'Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl' and 'Gunday'. The super energetic actor has noteworthy projects like Vikramaditya Motwane's 'Lootera' and Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Goliyon Ki Raasleela- Ram Leela' to his credit besides 'Kill Dil' and 'Dil Dhadakne Do'.

He will soon be seen as Maratha Peshwa in SLB's 'Bajirao Mastani' which is slated to release on December 18.
