Nagaland won't promote Digital Payment on Good Friday

The Democratic Alliance of Nagaland government will not join any activity relating to promotion of Digital Payment on Good Friday, Chief Secretary Pankaj Kumar said on Wednesday.

Kohima: The Democratic Alliance of Nagaland government will not join any activity relating to promotion of Digital Payment on Good Friday, Chief Secretary Pankaj Kumar said on Wednesday.

He said the central government was organising the Mega Draw and Digi Dhan on April 14 for promotion of Digital Payment in 100 cities across India.

The list does not include Nagaland, Kumar said.

The opposition-less Nagaland government is headed by ShArhozelie Liezietsu of the Naga People's Front and supported by eight Independents and four Bharatiya Janata Party legislators.
