Deepika Padukone tries to explain Hindi slangs and gets stuck at 'Jhakaas'—Watch

New Delhi: One of the top most actresses in Hindi cinema at present, Deepika Padukone has had a terrific start to 2018. Her much-hyped film 'Padmaavat' not only happens to be the biggest hit of the year so far but also earned her accolades for brilliantly portraying Rani Padmavati on the big screens. The period drama was helmed by maverick filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali. It starred Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor in lead roles.

Deepika, who enjoys a massive fan following on social media recently took to her Instagram handle and shared a sneak-peek video of Vanity Fair where she can be seen struggling to explain various Hindi slangs.

The actress gets stuck at 'Jhakaas' and tries her best to explain its literal meaning in English. And it has turned out to be hilarious, we must say!

On the professional front, Deepika has not announced any project officially but rumours are rife that there are few scripts and she might soon get going. She was to star opposite Irrfan Khan in Vishal Bhardwaj's gangster film but it got shelved after Irrfan announced his illness. The actor is currently undergoing treatment for NeuroEndrocrine Tumour, a rare disease in London.
