Kajol and Karan Johar are back as best friends and how! Here’s solid proof

Mumbai: Kajol and Karan Johar have reconciled and are back to being best friends. The two had cut all communications following a rift ahead of the release of Shivaay and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil last year. And now, the fight has become a thing of the past. And we have solid evidence to prove it.

Kajol took to Twitter on November 9 to share a throwback pic of her sitting on the bonnet of her first car. She tweeted:

“Look what I found ! A pic of me and my first love .... my first car ever !!! #tbt (sic).”

Karan, who doesn’t apparently have a pleasant memory about the car tweeted: “I think I remember a traumatic drive in this car with Manish!! (sic).”

Kajol responded to Karan’s tweet by posting: “Perfectly controlled trauma (sic).”

Kajol and Karan mended broken fences a few months back and this came to public light when the talented actress had ‘liked’ photographs of the filmmaker’s twins on Instagram.

Karan did something similar by ‘liking’ a photograph of Kajol with Manish Malhotra on her Instagram page. This was followed by a beautiful post titled – “Lifetime bonds”.

In the photograph, dating back to the times of My Name Is Khan, Karan struck a pose with Kajol and SRK.

And now, by recalling beautiful moments from the long past, Kajol and Karan have proved that they are friends for life.

A lot was speculated about Karan’s lost friendship with Kajol post Diwali last year. KJo in his autobiography had also revealed how his personal equation with the actress has changed.

He even stressed on the fact that that part of his life is shut and that they are never going to be friends again. But the filmmaker, who might have been extremely upset and deeply hurt to have said so.

According to Mumbai Mirror, Kajol, who celebrated her birthday on August 5, hosted a bash. Among the guest list was none other than Johar. He turned up sportingly and accepted the olive branch.

The tabloid quoted a source as saying, “She’s never been big on parties. It was an informal lunch. Karan sportingly turned up. They hugged, chatted for a couple of hours and Karan teared up. When he left the ice had melted. They did not touch on the issues that had created the rift.”
