Power bank in shape of hand grenade lands passenger in trouble at Delhi airport
The ordeal of the passenger began when he was stopped from boarding the Delhi to Ahmedabad flight after a hand grenade like article was found in his luggage on Tuesday.
NEW DELHI: A passenger travelling in a GoAir flight would have never thought that he would have to go through a gruelling interrogation for just carrying a power bank. The ordeal of the passenger began when he was stopped from boarding the Delhi to Ahmedabad flight after a hand grenade like article was found in his luggage on Tuesday.
Upon investigation, it was found that the object was not anything bomb but a power bank which looked like a hand grenade.
After interrogation, the passenger was later allowed to board the flight. "One passenger, who was scheduled to travel from Delhi to Ahmedabad, was a carrying hand grenade-shaped power bank on Tuesday", a GoAir spokesperson said.
The incident took place at the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport in Delhi.
While some on social media got angry, others laughed it off
