Mumbai: Prabhas is a brand popular across the country now. The Telugu superstar, who wowed audiences by his mesmerising good looks and awe-inspiring performance in SS Rajamouli’s two-part magnum opus Baahubali, is all set to make his Hindi debut soon.
He is presently busy with Sujeeth Reddy’s futuristic actioner Saaho and is learning Hindi too. The film will be releasing in Telugu, Hindi and Tamil too.
Prabhas has an ocean of fan following and is one of the finest human beings. But did you know what inspired him to take up acting as a career?
Here’s the answer – Prabhas, who keeps low key, seldom talks about himself. He is a very private person. Recently during an interaction with a leading daily, Prabhas revealed that he was inspired by Telugu film Bhakta Kannappa.
The hunk of an actor, who made women go weak in their knees as Amarendra Baahubali, an ideal husband, the second half of Baahubali, is also eager to do films in multiple languages.
“Most of my projects now will have a universal appeal. Regional cinema is different, so now I am trying to choose stories that cater to my audiences across the country. I will do stories which most of the audiences like,” Prabhas said.
“I am definitely interested in doing films in Bollywood. And not only in Hindi, I am open to working anywhere in the country, even if it is Punjabi. I will do films in any of the languages, provided the script is good. The region and the language don't matter,” he added.
