New Delhi: A day after expressing his desire to coach the Pakistani national team, Vinod Kambli on Friday suggested the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to hire childhood friend and former team-mate Sachin Tendulkar as India's new coach.
The 44-year-old said that Tendulkar has tremendous quality and youngsters will get benefit from his association.
“In my opinion BCCI should approach Sachin Tendulkar to be Team India's new coach. He has tremendous quality and youngsters will benefit,” tweeted Kambli.

After the end of Ravi Shastri's tenure as Team Director, the BCCI is looking for a new coach. And India U-19 head coach Rahul Dravid is heavily linked to take up the high-profile role.
Pakistan Cricket Board is also looking for a new coach to replace just retired Waqar Younis.
