New Delhi: Australia's dominance continued over India as Aaron Finch and skipper Steve Smith scored big runs to notch their respective records.

Both batsmen surpassed 2000 runs in ODIs. Finch who scored a well made 107, got to his 2000 runs in 54 innings. Smith meanwhile, scored 51 and got his in just 35 innings.

Smith has set a new record after breaking Hashim Amla's feat. Amla had got to 2000 runs in 40 innings.

For Australia earlier, David Boon (52) and Matthew Hayden (53) achieved it in fewer innings.

Australia lead the 5-match ODI series 3-0. They were once again in a commanding position in the 4th ODI in Canberra.

Finch shared a mammoth 187-run-partnership with opening partner David Warner. Smith too got into the act and scored a quick 51 runs to propel Australia's run scoring.
