New Delhi: Young speedster Jasprit Bumrah, who turned the tables for India in the first T20 against Australia, was hailed by former Australian pacer Damien Fleming on Wednesday.
An impressed Fleming said that the 22-year-old bowler is full of confidence, and India should invest in the promising talent.
"I liked the look of him. He was the bowler of the match for me in Sydney, and he has done very well here in Adelaide too. He obviously isn't lacking in confidence after playing for Mumbai Indians in the IPL. He has a unique action and I hope his body holds up well in international cricket," Fleming was quoted as saying in the PTI.
"Because he is quick and has good bounce, and he even bowled well in the death overs (in both matches), and Indian cricket should be investing in someone like that,” added Fleming.
Playing in his only second international match, managed to impress many with his pace and ability to bowl yorkers in death overs at Adelaide.
Bumrah, who has an unorthodox action, first claimed two wickets in the fifth ODI against Australia and returned with a three-wicket haul in the last T20.
