New Delhi: BCCI selection committee, led by MSK Prasad has announced the inclusion of pace bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar in the Indian squad, replacing veteran opner Gautam Gambhir for the three remaining Tests of the five-match series vs England.

Bhuvneshwar was in action recently during the Ranji Trophy match between Uttar Pradesh and Mumbai in Mysore where he bowled a total of 36 overs and picked up two wickets in the process.
Bagging his fourth five-wicket haul against New Zealand's in 1st innings of the 2nd Test in Kolkata, Bhuvneshwar picked up a back strain, and was subsequently ruled out of the series.
