Brad Pitt thinks he won’t make a good mayor

Washington: Brad Pitt has laughed off speculations that he could run for the post of mayor in his adopted home of New Orleans, Louisiana.The ‘Troy’ star apparently has a lot of controversial policies in his mind, which he believes could never be allowed.

"Yeah, I’m running (for the office of mayor) on the gay marriage, no religion, legalisation and taxation of marijuana platform! No, I don’t have a chance! It’s not what I do best," Contactmusic quoted him as saying. However, the residents of the city want him to run for public office as he helped rebuild the hard-hit Lower Ninth Ward area through his Make It Right Foundation. It is now providing affordable housing for families displaced by 2005`s Hurricane Katrina. In fact, the Hollywood biggie’s supporters have been distributing T-shirts bearing the actor’s image with the slogan `Brad Pitt for Mayor`. ANI
