South African spinner Paul Adams' style definitely stood out in recent years.

The back-of-the-hand bowler surprised many when he first represented the Proteas.

On Friday, a similar bowling action was witnessed in the Indian Premier League courtesy Gujarat Lions' spinner Shivil Kaushik.

Interestingly, Adams was quite thrilled with what he saw from Shivil.

While his action definitely grabbed attention of cricket fans, the 20-year-old did not have a successful outing against MS Dhoni's Rising Pune Supergiants.
