New Delhi: West Indian T20 skipper skipper Darren Sammy has learnt Pashto in the recent past. And if few media reports are to be believed, then soon, Sammy might get Pakistani citizenship as well.
In fact, the owner of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) team Peshawar Zalmi, Javed Afridi, on Tuesday started a campaign to get Sammy the citizenship.
It is learnt that the West Indian and Javed share a great bond.
Few hours back, the West Indian took to Twitter and hailed the language.
I did #LearnPushto from @JAfridi10 , very sweet language now almost a Pakhtun Zalmi. Noray khabaray ba bya kao. Do Khoday Pa Amaan
