New Delhi: Bangladesh cricketer Shakib Al Hasan was on Monday blessed with a beautiful gift as wife Umme Ahmed Shishir delivered the baby girl.
According to a report in the Daily Star, the delivery happened at around 2:00am (Bangladesh time) in the United States.
Both mother and the baby are in good heath, said Shakib’s mother Shirin Akhter.
The star all-rounder is believed to have reached New York and is now with his family.
The left-hander will not be part of the remainder of the Zimbabwe tour.
Shakib got married in December 2012.
