Mohammed Shami got his second wicket as India took complete control over West Indies. Darren Bravo returned to pavilion as teams go for LUNCH.

West Indies still trail by 256 runs with 6 wickets remaining.

Two good overs for Indian and West Indies are in big trouble. Amit Mishra removed Kraigg Brathwaite first, in the 13th over, then Mohammed Shami sent back Marlon Samuels in the next over.

WIndies still trail by 263 runs with 7 wickets remaining.


OVER 6 || SCORE 21/1 (Brathwaite 15; Bravo 4)

Play resumed after hour-long rain interruption, with new batsman Darren Bravo giving company to Kraigg Brathwaite as West Indies face the task of another innings defeat.

For India, Ishant Sharma and Mohammed Shami continued in tandem.

Ishant Sharma started the proceedings on Day 4. Kraigg Brathwaite took four balls to open the scoring, with a double. His opening partner Rajendra Chandrika negotiated the two remaining balls.

Meanwhile, BCCI approved two T20Is against West Indies, to be played in Florida on August 27 and 28.


Start of day's play has been delayed due to rain.

Day 3 Recap

Penultimate day's action of second Test of will start early to cover yesterday's lost overs due to rain. But India, having already taken a lead of 304 in the first innings, will hope for a full day's play today at Sabina Park against West Indies.

India declared their innings at 500/9 after 171.1 overs' play yesterday. Ajinkya Rahane remained unbeaten on 108 off 237 balls, and with his ton and that of opener Lokesh Rahul, India managed to post a huge first innings total.

On day one, bowlers have done well to bowl out West Indies for a paltry 196.
