New Delhi: Inspirational Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni has been leading the national side for almost nine years. Even though, Mahi has reached the twilight zone of his career, he still leads the side with examples.

During the recently concluded tour of Zimbabwe, Dhoni once again proved why he is still one of the best skippers in the world.

In the last T20I match against Zimbabwe, Dhoni hurt himself badly. He suffered a blow to his right eye when he got knocked over by pacer Donald Tiripano and in the process a bail flicked into his eye after being dislodged from the stumps.

Somehow, the bail made its way through the helmet grille and hit his eye.

After the incident, Dhoni was supposed to take rest in the 2nd innings but he decided to take the field and led India to yet another T20I series win.

Later, Mahi shared a selfie on Facebook with caption, “That’s what happens when u get hit by bails, lucky only had to keep wkts [sic] with blurred vision and pain”.
