McIlroy, 25, and Danish former world number one Wozniacki, 23, announced their split on Wednesday. The European Tour`s flagship event at Wentworth starts on Thursday. McIlroy and Wozniacki had announced their engagement on New Year`s Eve, but in a statement issued on Wednesday, the Northern Irishman said he was not ready for "all that marriage entails", reports the BBC.
