Chandigarh: Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda has congratulated the three wrestlers of state who have qualified for the London Olympics.
The three wrestlers are Geeta and Amit, who have qualified in the 55kg category and Yogeshwar Dutt, who qualified in 60kg category. Geeta has created history by becoming the first Indian woman wrestler to qualify for Olympics by winning a gold medal in the Asian Qualifying Tournament in Astana in Kazakhstan on Sunday. Amit and Yogeshwar Dutt also won gold and silver in the same tournament to qualify for London Olympics. The Chief Minister said that they have brought laurels to the State and the country, according to an official release on Sunday PTI
