New Delhi: Daniel Bryan's professional wrestling career has come to an abrupt end due to several injuries he suffered during his career.
Bryan took to Twitter to officially announce his retirement.
Due to medical reasons, effective immediately, I am announcing my retirement. Tonight on Raw, I'll have a chance to elaborate. #gratitude — Daniel Bryan (@WWEDanielBryan) February 8, 2016
According to a report in Forbes.com, even though Bryan wanted to come back into the ring, WWE was adamant not to let that happen, probably because of recent developments in ongoing concussion-related lawsuits that the company is currently facing.
