Swathi, Mary Ann among leaders

Chennai: Woman Grandmaster Swathi Ghate and Mary Ann Gomes, with 6.5 points, shared the lead on Monday after the eighth round of the Women International Grand Master Chess Tournament held in celebration of the FIDE World Championship Match here.

Sharing the lead with the Indian duo was Batsiashvili Nino of Georgia.
