Davis Cup: Somdev Devvarman consoles Rohan Bopanna after shocking loss on day 2

New Delhi: Somdev Devvarman, who put up an excellent show on the opening day of the on-going Davis Cup tie against Czech Republic, consoled Rohan Bopanna on Saturday after today's disappointment as India trail 2-1 now.

After the pair of Bopanna and Leander Paes lost the match against Radek Stepanek and Adam Pavlasek, the Bengaluru player took to micro-blogging site Twitter on Saturday to show his disappointment.

But within hours Devvarman, who has to play reverse singles match on tomorrow, not just consoled Bopanna but also displayed the team spirit in his Tweet.

Now, Devvarman and Yuki Bhambri have daunting task ahead as they have to win their reverse singles matches on Sunday if India are to re-enter the elite 16-nation World Group.
