Denis Istomin into Nottingham final as Marcos Baghdatis retires

London: Uzbekistan`s Denis Istomin, the world number 92, is through to the final of the Wimbledon warm-up tournament in Nottingham after Marcos Baghdatis retired injured early in Friday`s semi-final.

Baghdatis, the world number 59 from Cyprus, gave up when leading 2-1 in the first set.

Istomin will await the winner of the second semi-final due later on Friday between Sam Querrey of the USA and Ukraine`s Alexander Dolgopolov.
