Wimbledon women`s singles final -- five facts

London: Five facts on Saturday`s Wimbledon women`s singles final between Serena Williams and Garbine Muguruza:

- Williams is a win away from her second "Serena Slam" having won the 2002 French Open, 2002 Wimbledon, 2002 US Open and 2003 Australian Open. With the 2014 US Open, 2015 Australian Open and the French Open already under her belt, she`s a win away from a second "Serena Slam".

- Muguruza was just nine months old when the last Spanish woman won Wimbledon -- Conchita Martínez in 1994.

- Williams is trying to become the oldest Grand Slam champion in the Open Era. At 33 years and 289 days she would beat Martina Navratilova, who won Wimbledon in 1990 at the age of 33 and 263.

- She is also going for her 21st Grand Slam title -- one shy of the Open Era record held by Steffi Graf.

- Serena is 20-4 in Grand Slam finals. Her four defeats were at the 2001 US Open (to Venus Williams), 2004 Wimbledon (to Maria Sharapova), 2008 Wimbledon (to Venus Williams) and 2011 US Open (to Samantha Stosur).
