Supreme Court to hear government's diesel cabs phase out proposal on May 10

The diesel-run cab owners are going to sit with bated breath till Monday, May 10, when the Supreme Court hears the government's proposal that diesel cab owners should be allowed to run on Delhi-NCR roads till their permit expires.

Supreme Court bans diesel, petrol cabs in Delhi-NCR from May 1

The Supreme Court has banned plying of diesel or pettrol cabs in the Delhi National Capital Region from May 1 and has asked the cab owners to convert to LNG. It refused to extend the deadline for phasing out diesel cabs in NCR, saying that it has allowed enough extensions in the past.
