President Donald Trump bans entry of certain groups of Chinese students to US
Amid the rising tensions between the US and China over coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic, US President Donald Trump has upped the ante by issuing a proclamation banning the entry of Chinese students and researchers having ties with the People's Liberation Army. The Trump administration has taken this decision in order to stop China from using graduate students to acquire intellectual property and technology from the US.
