CBDT issues refunds worth Rs 1,12,489 crore to 91.30 lakh taxpayers

Rs 33,548 crore have been issued as income tax refunds in 89,53,923 cases. Corporate tax refunds worth Rs 78,942 crore were issued in 1,75,692 cases. The returns were credited between 1st April 2021 to 1st November 2021.

Tax Department issues refunds worth Rs 1,02,952 cr to 77.92 lakh taxpayers

The department said the amount includes 46.09 lakh refunds. These refunds are of Assessment Year (AY) 2021-22. Income tax refunds of Rs 18,873 crores were issued in 43,68,741 cases.
