Pulitzer Prize-winning novelist Alison Lurie dies

Praised by The New York Times as one of the country's "most able and witty novelists", Lurie broke through commercially in 1974 with 'The War Between the Tates'. Lurie won the 1985 Pulitzer for her novel, 'Foreign Affairs'. Her last published book, the literary essay collection 'Words and Worlds', was released in 2019.
