Rs 400 crore loss to exchequer in licence fee payment by incumbent telecom players: Jio
The payment of advance licence fee for the last quarter (January-March) of 2016-17 by three telecom service providers --Bharti Airtel, Vodafone India and Idea Cellular -- has resulted in a loss of Rs 400 crore to the government, Reliance Jio has claimed.

HC seeks Centre reply on Airtel plea for refund of over Rs 2500 crore
Delhi High Court on Monday sought the Centre's response on telecom major Bharti Airtel's plea seeking refund of over Rs 2,500 crore, which includes disputed licence fees of Rs 399.92 crore paid by it for its Punjab circle for 1996-98 and interest on the amount.
