Russia’s Sputnik V vaccine for COVID-19 has arrived in India and is likely to hit markets from next week, informed NITI Aayog member Dr VK Paul on Thursday. It has been decided that Hyderabad-based Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories will manufacture the vaccine in India. Russia’s Sputnik V vaccine is going to be India’s third COVID-19 vaccine, after Bharat Biotech’s Covaxin and Oxford-AstraZeneca’s Covishield.
