States to release 98,000 tons seized pulses in market from next week

Dal prices are expected to cool down further in the coming days as state governments will release over 98,000 tonnes of seized pulses in the open market from next week.

State governments start selling tur dal at Rs 120-145/kg

As per the Consumer Affairs Ministry's data, retail prices were still ruling high at Rs 200/kg today, while Urad is selling at Rs 190/kg, moong dal at Rs 130/kg, masoor dal at Rs 110/kg and gram at Rs 85/kg.
