Two dead, 80 injured during Jalikattu in Tamil Nadu village

New Delhi: At least two spectators died on Sunday during Jallikattu event in Tamil Nadu.

One of them was gored by bull while the other died of shock during the Jalikattu event at M Pudur village of Cuddalore district on Sunday.

One of the deceased, an engineering graduate, has been identified as Thirunavaukarasu (28) and the other as Bhaskar (38).

A total of 80 people, mostly bull tamers were injured. 

Most of them are treated at a medical outpost set up while a few are admitted to a local hospital.
