After Abhi apologises to Pragya for not being in a position to marry her despite being in love with her, she leaves with a broken heart. Purab and Dadi are almost on the verge of confronting Abhi but Pragya stops them. She reaches her home in a terrible state of mind and is just not able to control her tears.

Abhi on the other hand feels extremely helpless. He had committed marriage to Tanu and is compelled by his own words to get hitched to her in spite of having no feelings for her.

Dadi and Purab are extremely depressed but Tanu and Aliya have a big reason to celebrate. Tanu’s mother succeeds in emotionally blackmailing Abhi and this gives them ample reasons to make merry.

Aliya and Tanu even gear up for the Haldi ceremony but Tanu reaches Pragya’s home to poke fun at her plight.

In the Mehra mansion, Dadi makes up her mind to give Pragya her right and tells Purab that as long as she is alive, she will not let Abhi get married to Tanu.

Will Dadi be able to stop Abhi from getting married to Tanu?
