Sunil Grover might not be in 'Family Time With Kapil Sharma' but his lookalike in Sri Lanka proves his popularity as Dr Mashoor Gulati—See pic

New Delhi: Ace comedian Sunil Grover is a master of disguise and we can't agree more. Be it his immensely popular cross-dressing as Gutthi in 'Comedy Nights With Kapil' won millions of hearts, or Dr Mashoor Gulati and Rinku Bhabhi in 'The Kapil Sharma Show'—Sunil nailed his parts.

So much so that people identified more with his on-screen avatars. After 'Comedy Nights With Kapil' went off air, Kapil Sharma's second show was seen as a litmus test for his survival but because it was a superb team effort—the show became a huge success.

If Kapil's stand-up is class apart then Sunil's 'disguise' is beyond words. But like they say, good things don't last long—the two had an ugly mid-air brawl last year, followed by the latter's exit from the show. That day to this day, when Kapil has started yet another show 'Family Time With Kapil Sharma', fans are desperate to watch them together but it's just not happening. So, there's no Dr Mashoor Gulati on TV anymore.

But, wait, Mr Gulati's popularity is such that actor-singer Meiyang Chang who is holidaying in Sri Lanka recently shared a picture clicked with a fan who is a lookalike of not Grover but Gulati.

Isn't it adorable? Well, Kapil's new show doesn't have Sunil in it but people really want them to let bygones be bygones and join forces.

'Family Time With Kapil Sharm' has same old faces Kiku Sharda and Chandan Prabhakar backing Kapil, the host along with new addition Neha Pendse. It is largely a game show with comedy added to give it an edge over other shows. You have the loveable Navjot Singh Sidhu sitting on the big chair giving many one-liners to the guest and those playing the game.

Full marks for the game format but looks like Kapil will really have to put in more efforts to make this one as successful as his previous outings.

We hope, Sunil and Kapil do give us some LOL moments soon!
