Uttar Pradesh: 27 hurt in inter-caste clashes over assembly election result
At least 27 persons were injured on Wednesday during an inter-caste clash over the result of the assembly election in village Middha in Fefna area here, police said.

Ballia: At least 27 persons were injured on Wednesday during an inter-caste clash over the result of the assembly election in village Middha in Fefna area here, police said.
They said 22 Dalits and five Thakurs were injured in the clash following which cross-FIRs were registered.
A hut and a four-wheeler were also set afire.
Police are probing the matter and no arrest has yet been made.
Fefna Assembly constituency was won by Upendra Tiwari of BJP, who defeated Ambika Chaudhary of BSP.
