Almora bus accident leaves 12 dead, rescue operations underway

ALMORA: The death toll has now gone up to 13 in the Totam bus accident.

A bus fell into a gorge near Totam on Ramnagar-Almora road in Uttarakhand on Tuesday. Rescue operations are currently underway.

The State Disaster Response Fund or SDRF team rushed to the spot of the accident.

Nearly total 24 people were on board the bus.

The surviving passengers were seriously injured and have been rushed to the nearby hospital, said reports.
