Rajinikanth hails Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s initiative to curb corruption, fight black money

On Tuesday evening, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation to announce that from midnight Rs 1000 and Rs 500 would no longer be legal tender.

Mumbai: Megastar Rajinikanth took to Twitter Tuesday night to hail Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s initiative to put an end to the black money menace that had paralysed the nation.

The legendary actor, who makes rare appearances in the virtual world, applauded the PM for his direct assault on black money. Rajinikanth tweeted: “Hats off @narendramodi ji. New india is born #JaiHind (sic).”
