New Delhi: Bollywood's ultimate 'badshah' Shah Rukh Khan is somebody who rose to fame through sheer hard work and passion to make it big. The non-filmy Delhi guy made to the big league in Bollywood and soon earned the moniker 'King Khan'. His journey to superstardom continues to inspire many aspiring young talents in various fields and not just acting, per say.

The 49-year-old superstar was recently honoured with a doctorate by the University of Edinburgh and he even delivered a lecture. Shah Rukh gave a public lecture on October 15, 2015 on his life lessons—a subject which the students were keen to know more about.

An excited SRK took to Twitter and shared his pictures after he got his doctorate. He has been honoured with the Degree of Doctor Honoris Causa. SRK had previously received an an honorary doctorate degree in arts and culture from Britain’s University of Bedfordshire.
