Look beyond smoky eyes for parties

Los Angeles, Jan 1 (IANS) The party season is still not over, so forget the same old smoky eye make-up. Try other interesting looks instead.

Whether you’re heading out to a party or planning a night at home with friends, the following looks will hepl you to look good, reports peoplestylewatch.com.

* Shimmery eye shadow: If you’re all about glitter and glitz, then a shimmery eye shadow is the perfect look for you. 

Just coat your favourite copper shadow on your lids. Then, to really make your eyes pop, brush on some silver shadow in the inner corners and skim a brown eyeliner on the lower lash line. Then brush on a couple of coats of mascara, and you’re good to go.

* Exaggerated cat eye make-up: Cat-eye liner is a universal make-up trick that looks great on just about everyone. But the exaggerated version? It’s a little harder to apply during the day, but it’s the perfect look for a party-filled night. 

* Bright, bold lip: Leave the lip gloss at home and instead opt for a darker and richer hue. Just add a swipe of your favourite dark lip stain (red, wine or plum) to your pout before heading out to pair with your winged-out liner or shimmery eyes.
