Washington: Elizabeth Hurley stars as Queen Helena, the family matriarch who loves her crown in the upcoming TV drama 'The Royals.'

The 49-year-old revealed in the new behind-the-scenes video of the show that her character has a lot of power and knows exactly how to use it, E! Online reported.

Vincent Regan plays the role of King Simon, Queen Helena's soft-spoken counterpart, who shocks his entire family when he announces that he was considering abolishing the monarchy!

'One Tree Hill' creator Mark Schwahn would be taking viewers behind the Palace gates of ' The Royals ' in part two of the four part "behind-the-scenes" video series around his newest show which had been centered around a fictional modern-day British monarchy.
