Morgan Spector joins 'Paradise Pictures'

USA Network is travelling back in time to the Golden Age of Hollywood with a new drama pilot starring "Allegiance" actor Morgan Spector.

Los Angeles: USA Network is travelling back in time to the Golden Age of Hollywood with a new drama pilot starring "Allegiance" actor Morgan Spector.

"Suits" creator Aaron Korsh is partnering with the cable network for "Paradise Pictures", which takes place at a booming 1940s Hollywood film studio, reported Deadline.

Spector has been cast in the lead role as Tom Kirby, the brash and ego-driven head of production at Paradise Pictures.

While Tom Kirby isn't the owner of "Paradise Pictures", he is a power-broker who is quickly developing influence among Hollywood's top executives.

Besides his recurring role in the recently-cancelled "Allegiance", Spector has also starred with Tom Hardy in "The Drop" and played gangster Frank Capone in "Boardwalk Empire".

Spector's other notable television credits include prison drama "Orange Is the New Black", the short-lived NBC medical series "Do No Harm" and CBS procedural "Person of Interest".
